A beast of a bike: The Mondraker e crusher r+. Collection in person only, may personally deliver if required (distance pending) please message me. Being honest, I don't really want to sell this, I'm just not making the most of it. With adding a new family member to the crew and combining that with furlough loss of earnings, it puts me in a situation where it's the most logical choice.
Here we have my Mondraker e-mtb, I'll list a set of links that relate to this bike if you want to delve further but I just want to explain why I like it so much and what a potential downside is. Firstly, with this bike, it helped to build my confidence on the downhill, it's solid and thanks to its forward geometry, ZERO suspension system, it is a beast.I can go faster over rougher terrain without thinking twice about it, this is in areas where I'd had reservations previously. Secondly, it'll carry you when needed. I did not to use the motor all the time. I was overweight and no way could I keep up with the lads at the club, but I did want to improve my fitness. When the legs are feeling heavy, just kick the motor in on a low gear and your pacing with the best of them. I've used this for commutes and it's carried me for miles when I just didn't have it in me. Saving the best to last..... It's way more fun than any bike I've ever had before. The fact I can have just as much fun going up steps as I can going down them is awesome. Where normally, I'd be dying trying to get to the top of a climb, with this bike, I have fun with them.
This is just a strong bike built to last, it has features within it that have allowed me to do more and to have more fun in my rides. It's speed on a straight is limited, if you like to plough on at +20MPH this struggles at that, once the motor drops out because you've reached max assisted speed, it's on you then to push it through. You will find yourself averaging between 15 - 20MPH with the motor kicking in and out as your legs get tired. Although it's a carbon fibre frame, the battery and motor carries weight.
It has a few light scratches on the carbon frame and handle bars, a couple of the screw have rust showing on them and one of the stickers on the wheel is starting to peel off. Other than that, it's in great condition, no hits to the frame, I've only used this for a fraction of what I should have over the last 3 years.I think this is a bike that an owner just feels attached to, hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
